It was a big shock when I heard that you were referred to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Teaching Hospital, after we spoke at length on certain issues a day before and you advised me on what to do.
Surprisingly, when I called three days after our conversation, there was no returned call from you till 8:15 p.m. on that day, only to be told later that you have passed on.
 
You were many things rolled into one for me, my daddy, my mother, my mentor, my adviser, my counsellor and confidant.
You didn’t tell me that it would be this fast. I thought you would still be around a little more.
